Tailored

Enjoy the comfort and convenience of on-site tailored training. We can tailor our courses to your specific development needs, involving one or more creative applications or making your project central to the course content

It is also a very cost effective way to get a team up to date in the latest technology. No matter where your company is located, Mekon Creatives will travel the distance to bring the training to you.

Holding a tailored course at your office has several advantages:

• We can customise the training with your project in mind
• Your group will save training pounds with on-site training
• More flexibility with your schedule. We can set up on-site training when you decide, not by our scheduled courses.

For courses held at client sites, we provide all course materials including our comprehensive training manuals. The client would be responsible for providing a suitable training venue including computer hardware and software necessary to deliver the course.

Course delivery is scheduled by mutual agreement in accordance with the availability of our trainers and the requirements of the client company. On-site training from Mekon Creatives can tailor the class to match the job duties of your employees, and even incorporate your exact software files (or database, applications, etc.)

Together we can highlight the topics from our course content that you want to emphasise and remove those which don't apply to your training requirements. Each hour of training will then be focused on your specific needs, not just what the course outline offers.

Coaching

There are times when taking a team out of the office for a training course is simply not feasible with deadlines approaching. This can be a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the coaching services from Mekon Creatives.

Our expert trainers can come to your office and provide both proactive and reactive coaching to your team: proactive in that they can see how your team operates with a particular application and intervene with tips, tricks and time savers; reactive in that a team member can request immediate help or support from an expert who is right next to them.

Our trainers have industry experience and therefore understand the environment necessary for a team to operate in and will fit in perfectly with no disruption to the team.

Our coaching service can be offered in a number of different formats:

Floor Walking

• Informal/Unstructured floor-walking, where our trainer will mingle with the teams at their desks.

Surgery-style

• Informal/Unstructured surgery, where our trainer sets up in a convenient location and will be available for 10-20 min slots for staff to drop in with queries or help gaining efficiency in their use of the products.
• Semi-structured surgery, where users pre-book a time slot
• Fully-structured surgery, where users send in their queries in advance and a day of coaching is designed so that people with similar issues can be coached together

Whatever format you choose for your coaching, as with our public and tailored training courses, you can be sure of a dramatic increase in efficiency and motivation of your staff.

Coaching is most effective for teams that already have a basic level of understanding and experience with an application. We would not recommend this service for complete beginners.

Support

Here at Mekon Creatives, we provide comprehensive support for a range of publishing products, through training services and annual support packages.

With every training course, we provide 3 months post training support to every delegate to make sure new skills can be applied successfully, within a work or home environment.

If you have attended a course and require further assistance on the training you have received, please e-mail us. Your comments will be forwarded to your trainer and our support team, who will endeavour to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
